De Kerselaer, bed and breakfast, offers you an unique environment to
completely relax! You will find everything necessary for a good sleep
in this beautiful mansion in the heart of Essen. Every room is unique
and breaths the atmosphere of a metropole. Discover Barcelona, Nairobi, Havana and Samarkand or have a magical night in the Marrakech suite. Every morning a delicious breakfast awaits you and in the evening we'd like to welcome you in our cosy bar.

De Kerselaer is a small, cosy hotel with 5 different themerooms. It's a place where a businessman as well as a tourist feels at home. The hotel does not accept credit cards, only cash.

De Kerselaer has 5 themerooms. Each room takes you to another metropole. Havana, a single, Samarkand, Barcelona, two doubles, Nairobi, a twin and Marrakech, our suite are awaiting you.

Food and beverages

Every morning a delicious breakfast awaits you at the breakfastbuffet.
In the evenings you are welcome in our bar.

Area information

De Kerselaer is located in the heart of Essen, near by the trainstation. Here you can take the train to many cities in Belgium or the Netherlands. Essen is a green city, surrounded by The Kalmthoutse Heide and The Wouwse Plantage ideal for walking or biking excursions.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.

Internet: Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms only and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Free Public parking is possible on site.

Pets: Pets are not allowed.
