Short description
The hotel Lugano is a family hotel with 29 rooms and a restaurant à la carte, located in the centre of Knokke. At 50 meters from the beach and right in the "Kustlaan" shoppingstreet, the Lugano is just about the ideal location for all visitors to the coast. The terraces at the front, looking at the Kustlaan, provide the right ambience in fine weather if you want to see and be seen, and the garden with terrace at the back will enable you to relax in peace and quiet. Room information
All rooms have a bathroom with bath or shower and wc, television, telephone, minibar and safe. Also rooms with airco, kitchenette, jacuzzi. All rooms have completely been renovated in spring 2006 to offer a 4-star comfort.Bathrobes at your disposal.
Food and beverages
Restaurant (à la carte) is open between 6pm till 9.30pm, except on Wednesday. During the summer we also serve on the terrace. From Oktober till April open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Restaurant also for not-hotel-guests.Tearoom (all day long) in the salon, on the terrace or in the garden.
A delicious breakfast buffet is served between 8.30am till 11.30am. Also possible on the terrace.
From Easter to the end of September: every day except Wednesday.
From October to Easter day: Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
During school holidays: every day except Wednesday.
(Set menu only during the Christmas period.)
Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 35.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of total guests in a room is 4.
Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is not applicable.
Internet: Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs EUR 10.00 per hour.
Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.
