The hotel was built in 1995 and is renovated in 2007. It offers a total of 66 rooms:- 60 Superior (Standard) rooms with twin or Queen-size beds
- 6 Double Deluxe Rooms with king-size beds
All rooms are equipped with Cable TV, small fridge, safe, telephone, private bathroom with bath and shower, hairdryer and airconditioning.
WIFI is available in all rooms.

Our staff will be happy to advise you on were to go for a good dinner or a cosy bar.Our excellent breakfast buffet is served from 07.00 - 10.00.
Area information
The hotel is located 50 metres from the Diamond Centre and Diamond land, it is also just a 4-minute walk to the Central Train Station, where you can reach the surrounding areas and Antwerp's Deurne Airport (8km) and Brussels' Zaventem Airport (45km).Nearby are famous shopping areas and the large cinema. The historical centre with sights such as: Rubenshouse; the Cathedral; Town Hall and the Old market Square are all within walking distance.
Tourists information
By car:From Brussels:
- take the E19
- take the tunnel under Wilrijk
- follow the signs to the centre of Antwerp
- you will automatically come on to the Generaal Lemansstraat, which then turns right through the Koning Albertpark to the Mechelsesteenweg
- at the traffic lights turn right to the Belgiëlei
- follow the road until you reach a roundabout, turn left and follow the Charlottalei
- go straight through onto the Quinten Matsijslei, where you will find the Hotel Carlton, at number 25 (on the corner with the L. Kievitstraat)
- continue past this and take the first street on the right, here you will find the hotel.
From Eindhoven-Turnhout:
- follow the E 34
- follow the E 313
- exit towards Borgerhout
- at the traffic lights, go left onto the small ring (Singel) around Antwerp
- follow the road through 2 more sets of traffic lights
- turn right onto the Plantin and Moretuslei
- keep going straight through until you arrive at the City Central Park, turn right, you are on the Quinten Matsijslei, were the Hotel Carlton is situated at number 25 (on the corner with the L. Kievitstraat)
- take the first street on the right, where you will find the hotel.
From Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Breda:
- follow the E19 and automatically you will come onto the outer ring around Antwerp
- exit at the Borgerhout
- go right and you are on the Plantin and Moretuslei
- keep on going straight through until you arrive at the City Central Park
- turn right onto the Quinten Matsijslei, were the Hotel Carlton is situated at number 25 (on the corner with the L. Kievitstraat)
- take the first street on your right, here you will find the hotel.
If you are arriving by train in the Central Station:
Walk out of the station onto the Keyserlei, turn left into the Quellinstraat to the Quinten Matsijslei.
By tram:
There are stops at the Central Station and on the Belgiëlei.
By bus:
There are stops on the Quinten Matsijslei (at numbers 5 and 40).
From Antwerp Airport, take a taxi (approx. BEF 300)

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
